Electrostatic Air Purifier How To Improve Air Quality Inside?

How to improve air quality inside? - electrostatic air purifier

Our heat pump was installed around 2001 and lead the work has also been replaced. I know that the canal needs to be cleaned urgently, especially since we have 6 pets and smoke. I had come from a specialist today and gives me an estimate and that the total damage was $ 5000! The price includes cleaning and sealing of pipes, installation of an electrostatic filter, a dehumidifier in the cavity and install a UV filter. I read an article that does the UV filter only for fungi, mold spores and not really clean air.I change the air filter every 4-6 weeks, and the air in the house as often as possible. I wonder whether there are cheaper solutions to improve air quality. We have an air purifier, but it covers only one room at a time.
If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. Thank you!

There are no easy answers and quick, without his situation.

General answers:
-Make sure the tube is sealed properly, very important, crawl spaces and attics.
"A good pleated filter is a minimum. Do not buy the filters in standard optical fiber.
Get-3 prices, talk to your friends and check references online. Please understand IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) is a real cash cow for the company, HVAC.
UV light does not filter the air, mold spores and fungi, however, have a large impact on indoor air quality and people with allergies.

I personally am not a fan of electrostatic filters.

Get a qualified reputable contractor more than a few opinions of the people, without helping their precise location.

Good Luck

The moisture in the air causes mold, etc. .. If you use something, such as removal of moisture in closets, etc. .. which helps in reducing the odor of mold that can accumulate.

A similar problem is the dollar, as a rule in all branches. This is a plastic container with white beads absorb the moisture. When moisture is absorbed water goes down. They can be "moisture-absorbing" or a similar name.

I'm a fan that draws dust in a filter. It was a case or two in a pack of ten dollars a few years ago. Falling down, must be used to filter them. Thus, a point that I almost can find even a further defeat for the filter. Then recycle dryer sheet to collect dust. What a good job and to improve the air.

A more expensive option is a humidifier / dehumidifier. You can put moisture in the air, or take the moisture in the air. Depending on where you live, and the time of the year.
